Minnesota High School Volleyball - DeLaSalle bounced by Academy of Holy Angels
September 17, 2025: Minneapolis, MN 55401 Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Academy of Holy Angels improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Stars travel to Kennedy (Bloomington, MN) to meet the Eagles in a Tri-Metro challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Kennedy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Orono (Long Lake, MN)
The Islanders now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richfield for a Tri-Metro test on Thursday, September 18. DeLaSalle will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.
