Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Beloit (South Beloit, IL). The Sobos come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last test, South Beloit nudged Lutheran (Rockford, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Timberwolves now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Indian Creek will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
