September 2, 2025: Leland, IL 60531 Leland Panthers (Leland, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Somonauk for a Little Ten outing on Thursday, September 4. Leland will play a Bobcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Ashton-Franklin Center drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Hiawatha lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL)
