In Tuesday's league match, the Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) volleyball squad overcame the host Lucas Cubs (Lucas, OH), by a count of 3-1.

Coming up next, the Comets clash with the Crestline Bulldogs (Crestline, OH) in a Mid-Buckeye bout, on Friday, August 29. Central Christian will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Peter's (Mansfield, OH).

With the loss, Lucas drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Cubs host Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30.
