Georgia High School Volleyball - Walker winner over King's Ridge Christian

Walker Wolverines (Marietta, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host King's Ridge Christian Tigers (Alpharetta, GA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Walker upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA) to meet the Royal Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Elite Scholars Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Union Grove (McDonough, GA)

In their next game, the Tigers face the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a 1A Area 5 test, on Tuesday, August 26. King's Ridge Christian will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 7-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, GA).
