August 26, 2025: Atlanta, GA 30328 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting King's Ridge Christian Tigers (Alpharetta, GA), observed Mount Vernon's volleyball team hold off King's Ridge Christian by a count of 2-1.
The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, George Walton Academy was tipped by Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Tigers battle the The Weber School Rams (Atlanta, GA) in a 1A Area 5 contest, on Tuesday, September 9. King's Ridge Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record.
