The Northridge Vikings volleyball squad (Johnstown, OH), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH)

With the win, Newark Catholic improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Zanesville (Zanesville, OH) to encounter the Blue Devils in a Licking County battle on Thursday, August 28. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Zanesville lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH)

The Vikings now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a Licking County battle on Thursday, August 28. Northridge will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-1.
