River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, River Ridge improves its record to 13-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Pope (Marietta, GA) to meet the Greyhounds in a 5A Area 6 challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a record of 14-4. Pope lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Marist (Atlanta, GA)

Next, the Lions meet the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots (Johns Creek, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 2-0 league win over St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA).
