August 27, 2022: Kewanee, IL 61443 The Wethersfield Flying Geese topped the visiting Bureau Valley Storm volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Flying Geese now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orion for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27. Wethersfield will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.
The Storm (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Trojans enter the Three Rivers test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Mendota gained a win over Putnam County (Granville, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
