The Taft Raiders volleyball team (San Antonio, TX), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX)

The Hornets (14-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Warren nudged Marshall (San Antonio, TX), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Brennan for a 6A Region IV District 29 outing on Tuesday, August 30. Taft will face a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Bears record now stands at 15-11.
