In Saturday's non-league contest, the South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN) volleyball squad were winner over the host North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Rebels battle the Caston Comets (Fulton, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 27. South Newton will attempt to better on its 13-0 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pioneer (Royal Center, IN).
