In Saturday's non-league contest, the Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Pirates battle the Puckett Wolves (Puckett, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 27. Pearl will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Pearl (Pearl, MS).
