North Carolina High School Soccer - Hobbton toppled by Midway
August 27, 2024: Newton Grove, NC 28366 Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Midway moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Raiders host Triton (Erwin, NC) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-1. Triton won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC)
The Wildcats now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Princeton for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. Hobbton will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
