Virginia High School Volleyball - Isle of Wight Academy can't get by Broadwater Academy
August 27, 2024: Isle of Wight, VA 23397 Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Broadwater Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA) to face the Patriots in a test on Thursday, August 29. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Chargers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southampton Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. Isle of Wight Academy will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
