Kentucky High School Soccer - Cooper nudges Highlands
August 27, 2024: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) and the host Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY), saw Cooper's soccer squad hold off Highlands by a count of 1-0.
The Jaguars (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Covington Catholic tipped Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bluebirds confront the Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 5. Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
