September 26, 2024: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Highlands advances its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bluebirds travel to Campbell County (Alexandria, KY) to clash with the Camels in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Camels come into the test with a record of 10-6. Campbell County won 2-0 in their recent league test against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY)
The Pioneers now have a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Cincinnati Country Day for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. Simon Kenton will clash with a Nighthawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Yellow Springs (Yellow Springs, OH). The Nighthawks record now stands at 3-6.
