August 27, 2024: Dalton, GA 30721 Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA), 15-3 in a league game.
With the triumph, Cedartown improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Woodland (Cartersville, GA) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Region 7 game on Thursday, August 29. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 3-6. Woodland lost 13-0 in their recent league game against Cass (White, GA)
The Raiders now hold a 0-11 record. They play next when they host Allatoona for a 4A Region 7 game on Thursday, August 29. Southeast Whitfield County will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Hiram (Hiram, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 8-2.
