Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Alcorn Central improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Bears host East Union (Blue Springs, MS) to face the Urchins in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Urchins go into the test with a record of 14-4. East Union won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Ripley (Ripley, MS)

The Lions now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corinth for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Biggersville will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 6-15.
