August 27, 2024: Flint, MI 48532 New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, New Lothrop advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Chesaning (Chesaning, MI) to face the Indians in a Mid-Michigan Athletic test on Tuesday, August 27. The Indians go into the test with a record of 1-1. Chesaning lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Hemlock (Hemlock, MI)
The Cavaliers now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powers Catholic for a Saginaw Valley test on Tuesday, September 10.
