October 23, 2024: Flint, MI 48505 Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Powers Catholic improves its record to 6-12 on the season. The Chargers travel to St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI) to face the Falcons/Kestrels in a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. The Falcons/Kestrels go into the test with a record of 27-4. St. Mary Catholic Central lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI)
The Hornets now own a 6-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenn for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 30.
