August 27, 2024: Onaway, MI 49765 Onaway Cardinals (Onaway, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Onaway improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Cardinals host Roscommon (Roscommon, MI) to face the Bucks in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Bucks go into the test with a record of 7-1.
The Rayders now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Inland Lakes for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Charlevoix will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hillman (Hillman, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
