In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pine Tree Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets.

The Pirates (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, North Lamar beat Edgewood (Edgewood, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 28. Elysian Fields will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
