In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. John's Mavericks volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles.

The Mavericks (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record.

Next, the Eagles meet the St. Agnes Academy Tigers (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Fort Bend Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record.
