Virginia High School Volleyball - Woodside over Hampton
August 27, 2024: Hampton, VA 23669 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) and the host Hampton Crabbers (Hampton, VA), observed Woodside's volleyball team top Hampton by a tally of 3-0.
The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Phantoms enter the Peninsula contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Phoebus beat Denbigh (Newport News, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Crabbers meet the Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) in a Peninsula contest, on Thursday, August 29. Hampton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
