Lafayette Christian Cougars (LaGrange, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Holy Ground Baptist Academy Stallions (Roopville, GA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lafayette Christian improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Cougars host Skipstone Academy (Griffin, GA) to face the Warriors in a GAPPS DI-AA Region 4 test on Tuesday, September 3. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-5. Skipstone Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Forest (Fayetteville, GA)

The Stallions now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to CrossPointe Christian Academy for a GAPPS DI-A Region 3A test on Thursday, August 29. Holy Ground Baptist Academy will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Praise Academy (Powder Springs, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-5.
