August 27, 2025: Yorktown, VA 23692 The Grafton Clippers football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Warhill Lions to 0 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
In their next game, the Clippers face the York Falcons (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Grafton will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Poquoson (Poquoson, VA).
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA). The Rams go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Lafayette knocked off Smithfield (Smithfield, VA), 41-22, in a non-league test.
