North Carolina High School Soccer - South Rowan nudged by West Stanly
August 27, 2025: Oakboro, NC 28129 West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Stanly advances its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Wolf Pack in a Rocky River 4A/5A test on Wednesday, September 3. The Wolf Pack come into the test with a record of 0-4. Parkwood 0-0 in their recent non-league test against Piedmont (Monroe, NC)
The Raiders now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Mecklenburg for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. South Rowan will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.
