Illinois High School Volleyball - Sterling tips Annawan
August 27, 2025: Annawan, IL 61234 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) and the host Annawan Braves/Bravettes (Annawan, IL), observed Sterling's volleyball team hold off Annawan by a tally of 2-1.
The Golden Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Newman Central Catholic was edged by East Moline United (East Moline, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Braves/Bravettes now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morrison for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Annawan will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Stockton (Stockton, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
