August 27, 2025: Berryville, VA 22611 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) and the host Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA), observed Handley's volleyball team top Clarke County by a count of 3-1.
With the win, Handley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Judges travel to James Wood (Winchester, VA) to encounter the Colonels in a Northwestern contest on Saturday, August 30. The Colonels enter the contest with a record of 1-0. James Wood won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA)
The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Skyline for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Clarke County will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
