Michigan High School Volleyball - Lutheran North can't hold off Midland
August 28, 2021: Midland, MI 48642 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Midland Chemics volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lutheran North Mustangs.
The Chemics (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI). The Titans come into the Macomb Area - Red battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Sterling Heights Stevenson nudged Utica (Utica, MI), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Shrine Catholic Knights (Royal Oak, MI) in a Catholic - AA battle, on Wednesday, September 1. Lutheran North will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI).
