Oklahoma High School Softball - Grandfield holds off Geronimo
August 28, 2023: Geronimo, OK 73543 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Grandfield Bearcats (Grandfield, OK) and the host Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK), witnessed Grandfield's softball squad tip Geronimo by a count of 6-4.
The Bearcats now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ringling for a non-league match on Tuesday, August 29. Grandfield will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Waurika (Waurika, OK). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-11.
With the loss, Geronimo moves to 13-11 on the season. The Blue jays host Big Pasture (Randlett, OK) to meet the Rangers in a Class B match on Tuesday, August 29. The Rangers go into the match with a record of 2-12. Big Pasture lost 19-3 in their recent non-league match against Central (Marlow, OK)
