The Prairie Central Hawks topped the visiting Herscher Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Hawks now have a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29. Prairie Central will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 4-2.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs enter the Illinois Central Eight challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Streator was dropped by Pontiac (Pontiac, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
