Illinois High School Volleyball - Watseka tips Prairie Central

Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Chrisman Cardinals (Chrisman, IL) in a Vermilion Valley match, on Tuesday, September 19. Watseka will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 9-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Heritage (Broadlands, IL).

With the loss, Prairie Central drops to 17-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL) to battle the Sabers in a Illini Prairie match on Tuesday, September 26. The Sabers come into the match with a record of 11-6.
