The Alexander Spartans smashed the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks soccer team by a tally of 4-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next, the Spartans face the Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) in a Twin-State game, on Tuesday, September 2. Alexander will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV).
