The Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Rutherford for a match on Tuesday, September 2. Draughn will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-4.
