August 28, 2025: Charleroi, PA 15022 The Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) soccer routed the visiting Waynesburg Central Raiders (Waynesburg, PA), 10-2 in Thursday's non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars face the McGuffey Highlanders (Claysville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Charleroi will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Highlanders enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 4-0 league win over South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA).
The Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, North Marion gained a win over Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV), 7-0, in a non-league challenge.
