Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Lower Moreland nudges Cheltenham
August 28, 2025: Wyncote, PA 19095 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) and the host Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA), saw Lower Moreland's soccer squad hold off Cheltenham by a score of 1-0.
The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Springfield Township tipped New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers confront the William Tennent Panthers (Warminster, PA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 3. Cheltenham will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA).
