August 28, 2025: Auburn, CA 95602 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) and the host Forest Lake Christian Falcons (Auburn, CA), saw North Tahoe's soccer squad triumph over Forest Lake Christian by a count of 9-0.
The Lakers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Wolverines enter the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, West Wendover was overwhelmed by South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 4-0, in a non-league match.
The Falcons now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leroy Greene Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. Forest Lake Christian will meet a Lions team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Sacramento, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
