The Pungo Christian Academy Raiders soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans to 1 in the Raiders league victory on Thursday.

The Raiders now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albemarle School for a NCISAA Tarheel contest on Tuesday, September 2. Pungo Christian Academy will face a Colts team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Colts record now stands at 2-3.

The Spartans (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, J.F. Webb was overwhelmed by Knightdale (Knightdale, NC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
