Next, the Tide face the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Sherman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to PikeView (Princeton, WV).
