August 28, 2025: Snellville, GA 30078 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA) and the visiting Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), saw Brookwood's softball squad nip Peachtree Ridge by a score of 6-0.
With the triumph, Brookwood improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Broncos travel to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to face the Wolves in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 9-0. Wesleyan won 7-5 in their recent league contest against Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA)
The Lions now hold a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. Peachtree Ridge will battle a Dragons team coming off a 10-0 league win over Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 10-1.
