The Lincoln High Links softball team (Lincoln, NE), was routed 18-0 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE)

The Rockets (4-8) will now prepare for their bout against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Elkhorn South was routed by Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE), 4-0, in a league bout.

Next up, the Links face the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) in a A District contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Lincoln High will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Discoverers enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE).
