Georgia High School Softball - Veterans bounces Thomas County Central
August 28, 2025: Kathleen, GA 31047 In Thursday's league match, the host Veterans Warhawks softball team scored a nice 13-5 victory over the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets.
The Warhawks (12-1) will now prepare for their game against West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, West Laurens defeated Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA), 19-1, in a league game.
The Yellow Jackets now hold a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colquitt County for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 3. Thomas County Central will battle a Packers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Packers record now stands at 4-7.
