Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) and the visiting Broken Bow Indians (Broken Bow, NE), observed Hershey's volleyball team hold off Broken Bow by a count of 3-2.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ogallala (Ogallala, NE). The Indians enter the C1 District 12 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Ogallala tipped Chase County (Imperial, NE), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Platte for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Broken Bow will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Beatrice (Beatrice, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
