Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hershey improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Panthers host Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE) to face the Wolves in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 10-1. Maywood/Hayes Center won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE)

The Minutemen now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Lexington will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-7.
