The Danbury Panthers volleyball squad (Danbury, TX), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX)

With the win, Heights improves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Columbia (West Columbia, TX) to face the Roughnecks in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Roughnecks go into the test with a record of 5-10. Columbia lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Randle (Richmond, TX)

The Panthers now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Kempner for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Danbury will play a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 2-12.
