Texas High School Volleyball - George West can't hold off Utopia
August 28, 2025: Utopia, TX 78884 The Utopia Buffaloes tipped the visiting George West Longhorns volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Buffaloes confront the John F. Kennedy Rockets (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 28. Utopia will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Rockets enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Uvalde (Uvalde, TX).
The Longhorns (12-6) will now prepare for their game against Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX). The Buffaloes enter the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Fox Tech was nudged by Seguin (Seguin, TX), 3-0, in a league bout.
