Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX) and the visiting San Antonio Memorial Minutemen (San Antonio, TX), saw Utopia's volleyball squad notch a victory over San Antonio Memorial by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Utopia improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to La Pryor (La Pryor, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 5-3. La Pryor won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Dilley (Dilley, TX)

The Minutemen now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Three Rivers for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21. San Antonio Memorial will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
