The Lorena Leopards volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting McGregor Bulldogs to 0 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Leopards now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Midway for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. Lorena will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 16-7.

The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Connally (Waco, TX). The Cadets enter the non-league game with a 5-13 record. In their last game, Connally was dropped by North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
