The Unity Christian Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Meridian Hawks to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Mt. Zion for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2.

With the loss, Meridian drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Tri-City (Buffalo, IL) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. The Tornadoes come into the game with a record of 1-1. Tri-City lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against New Berlin (New Berlin, IL)
